Business Systems Analyst
Location: Greater Chicago Area (Remote Flex)
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Business Systems Analyst to join our client in supporting their enterprise wide chatbot-Analytics Workstream. This role will focus on ensuring the stability and continued success of the Chatbot (Moveworks product), which is already live and integrated across multiple systems enterprise-wide. You will play a key role in analyzing data from AVA, creating effective dashboards, helping to make metrics based decisions, and supporting the product as it evolves. This is an opportunity to work on cutting-edge AI technology, drive improvements, and provide impactful insights to stakeholders. Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with business and IT stakeholders, including product leaders, program managers, and system owners, to gather both functional and technical requirements.
- Provide detailed analysis of data metrics and make recommendations for enhancements or adjustments to ensure system stability and optimal performance.
- Assist the team as they fine-tune APIs connected to data in Cloudera, ensuring alignment with business needs and resolving integration issues.
- Serve as a strategic advisor, pushing vendors and internal teams toward viable solutions and to make data based decisions.
- Develop and maintain functional and technical documentation, ensuring accuracy and clarity in requirement specifications.
- Utilize data analytics tools (SQL, Spotfire, Power BI, etc.) to deep dive into metrics, build and improve dashboards, and provide data visualizations that drive business insights.
- Partner with teams from integrated systems (such as NextThink, ServiceNow, HRConnect, and Microsoft) to ensure seamless operation and alignment.
- Offer guidance on best practices in data visualization tools, and analytics based decision making.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Business Systems Analyst or related roles.
- Proficiency in SQL and data analytics, with experience in building dashboards and data visualization.
- Strong communication and documentation skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Experience with enterprise-level systems integrations (such as NextThink, ServiceNow, HRConnect, Microsoft, or otherwise)
- A proactive, solution-oriented mindset, capable of challenging the status quo and providing strategic input.
