Job Overview
We are seeking two dedicated IT e-Trainers/Technical Writers with a solid understanding of ITIL principles to join our team on a 12-month remote contract basis. This role is an opportunity to contribute to the design, development, and implementation of vital training materials and policies for our Information Technology staff, specifically focusing on the Software Development Life Cycle and ITIL v3 adaptation.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with the IT Business Transformation Analyst to create comprehensive training materials.
- Develop and maintain effective e-learning modules tailored for IT staff.
- Ensure existing training resources are updated to reflect current practices and standards.
- Work directly with IT personnel to assess their training requirements and facilitate onboarding for new staff.
Required Skills
- Proficient writing and technical knowledge, with the ability to communicate complex information clearly.
- Strong command of English language structure, grammar, and composition.
- Excellent analytical skills to evaluate information and identify relevant insights.
- Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with technology-related terminology and concepts.
- Experience in developing policies, procedures, and training materials.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and e-learning tools, with experience in Articulate being advantageous.
- ITIL knowledge or certification is expected.
Qualifications
- The ideal candidate will possess at least 7 years of experience in technical writing or a related field.
