MEI Bid Coordinator Overview:
As the Bid Coordinator, you will work with the Estimating Department to coordinate bidding opportunities. The Bid Coordinator’s primary responsibilities are to keep project information organized and current to prepare bid documents accurately. This person must demonstrate characteristics consistent with MEI Core Values: leadership, collaboration, integrity, accountability, passion, quality, discipline, and perseverance.
MEI Bid Coordinator Responsibilities:
- Mange all incoming invitations to bid and update estimating schedule
- Review bid documents to confirm and prepare prequalification requirements
- Proactively coordinate with clients to maintain current information related to estimating efforts
- Request and manage quotes from suppliers and subcontractors
- Prepare bid proposals and solicit customers for feedback
- Responsible for organization of estimating department
MEI Bid Coordinator Qualifications:
- Experience with construction documents including
- Passionate about consistency, organization & systemization
- Ambitious person with proactive attitude who looks to be helpful; self-motivated
- Strong attention to detail
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
- Phones, copying, scanning and other office equipment experience
- Excellent communication and writing skills
