Job Summary or Purpose
We seek a creative and talented Brand Marketing Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating engaging and high-quality visual content, including branding, sales and marketing collateral, packaging, web design, and social media graphics, to promote our products on various channels and platforms.
Essential Functions
- Manage social media accounts - post content, engage followers, monitor analytics, and implement strategy.
- Write compelling copy for various marketing materials, including emails, ads, brochures, web pages, etc.
- Take visually appealing event photos and videos for social media and website.
- Monitor digital marketing campaign performance, create reports, and provide suggestions for optimization.
- Research and respond to requests for proposals (RFPs).
- Collaborate with sales team to support lead generation and sales initiatives.
- Develop new ideas and strategies to build brand awareness and engagement.
- Stay current on digital marketing and social media best practices and trends.
- Measure and analyze audience insights and metrics to improve content and strategy.
Job Duties
- Represent the company brand voice and values consistently across all content.
- Create engaging social media content, including posts, images, videos, stories, reels, etc.
- Manage and schedule ongoing social media activities.
- Create and manage an index of existing digital assets.
- Respond to comments and messages on social media channels. Engage with followers.
- Research and write compelling RFP responses, ensuring requirements are addressed.
- Conceptualize, shoot, and edit high-quality photographs for social media, our website, and other marketing materials. Maintain photo library.
- Write, edit, and publish website content, including blog posts, copy, articles, etc. Optimize content for SEO.
- Design graphics and visuals as needed to accompany content.
- Analyze performance data and insights to inform future content strategies. Create reports.
- Manage relationships with influencers, photographers, writers, or other content collaborators.
This role requires creative skills for developing engaging content and analytical skills for tracking performance and results. Time management and organization are key to managing the range of duties.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Proven work experience as a content creator/graphic designer/photographer or in a similar role.
- Must be a self-starter and show a pattern of initiative and critical thinking skills.
- A portfolio that showcases independent quality design work.
- Strong artistic vision and ability to create visually compelling designs that effectively communicate a message or idea.
- A solid working knowledge of AI utilizations and prompt engineering for platforms such as ChatGPT, Midjourney, Beautiful.ai, DALL-E, Adobe Firefly
- Keep updated with new technology and industry trends, and continuously improve their skills and techniques.
- Ability to collaborate well with clients and team members and communicate effectively.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Highly proficient in Adobe CS tools – Photoshop, Premiere Pro, and After Effects.
- Familiar with producing for social media channels and other video-based digital platforms.
- Proficient in motion animations and incorporating graphics and text into video edits.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to effortlessly collaborate with others, both internally and externally
- Capable of receiving creative direction and handling feedback related to work.
- Capable of managing projects from start to finish, overseeing project timelines and deadlines, and handling client communications related to video projects.
- Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or related field preferred
Work Environment
- This position includes sitting for prolonged periods.
Physical Demands
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit and stand. The employee is occasionally required to handle tools or controls, including but not limited to computers, laptops, phones, etc. Additionally, the employee may be required to reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, and crouch. The employee must occasionally lift, transport, and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift, transport, and/or move up to 35 pounds. The employee must see clearly, with or without using glasses or contacts.
Travel requirements
Travel will be required at 20% to 25% and is subject to change depending on business needs. Some of your time will be spent traveling domestically and possibly internationally.
