Job Summary
Baptist Health is hiring a Clinical Abstraction Specialist to join the Clinical Quality Analytics team. This is a full-time, days, remote opportunity.
Responsibilities Include
Abstracts & analyzes specific clinical diagnose, information, & data from patient medical record to assess performance in defined quality measures, disease states, or other quality outcomes measures. Includes tracking of identified patient populations and data entry into defined data bases. Provides interventions through working with MDs, RNs and other providers to increase compliance with best practices. Provides progress updates to key stakeholders on real time results if available. Provides education to the healthcare team on core measures and quality indicators.
Hours: Monday to Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Eastern.

- Licensed Registered Nurse Required
