Position Overview:The General Manager, Business Operations role is crucial for Bambee's success. This role provides operational leadership, strategic direction, and cross-functional collaboration across the business, directly supporting our CEO and driving our growth trajectory. As General Manager, Business Operations you have oversight across the company's back office operations and streamline operations day-to-day. You will focus on ensuring operational excellence, optimizing team performance and act as a facilitator to ensure day-to-day operations and initiatives run smoothly without direct management responsibilities of the cross functional teams. Ultimately your job will be to make sound decisions, using logic, trade of analysis, and risk analysis to drive the organization forward often acting as a conduit between the CEO and the day-to-day operations.
General Manager Responsibilities:The General Manager will focus on ensuring the smooth execution of day-to-day operations, working closely with the CEO and department heads to ensure alignment with the company’s strategic objectives. While not responsible for managing teams or departments, the GM will act as a key facilitator to ensure that cross-functional initiatives stay on track, timelines are met, and resources are allocated efficiently. The ideal candidate is a strategic, detail-oriented problem solver who thrives on ensuring the seamless operation of a fast-growing business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Program Management: Oversee and coordinate the execution of cross-functional programs and initiatives, ensuring they are delivered on time and within scope.
- Operational Coordination: Act as a central point of contact to ensure alignment between departments, facilitating communication and driving collaboration across product, marketing, finance, and operations.
- Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve operational processes to increase efficiency and remove bottlenecks. Ensure that workflows are optimized for scalability as the company grows.
- Timeline Management: Ensure that projects and initiatives are progressing according to established timelines. Identify and address any delays or risks that may impact delivery.
- Resource Allocation: Work with department heads to ensure that resources (both human and financial) are allocated efficiently to meet project and business goals.
- Performance Tracking: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for ongoing initiatives, using data to inform decisions and track progress toward strategic objectives.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks to project or operational success, proactively addressing issues to minimize their impact.
- Stakeholder Communication: Provide regular updates on the status of key initiatives to the CEO and other stakeholders. Ensure that decision-makers are informed of any significant changes or roadblocks.
- Problem Solving: Act as a troubleshooter, stepping in to resolve operational challenges as they arise and ensuring business continuity.
- Strategic Alignment: Ensure that day-to-day execution aligns with Bambee’s broader strategic objectives, providing feedback and recommendations to improve operational efficiency.
Qualifications:- Experience: Minimum of 8 years in operations, program management, or a similar role, preferably within a SaaS or tech environment.
- Skills: Strong organizational and project management skills with experience overseeing complex, cross-functional initiatives.
- Detail-Oriented: Excellent attention to detail, with a focus on ensuring that projects stay on track and meet deadlines.
- Problem Solving: Proven ability to identify and resolve operational issues quickly and efficiently.
- Communication: Strong communication skills with the ability to coordinate between departments and report effectively to executive leadership.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degrees or equivalent experience in project management or operations are a plus.

Pay: $150,000 - $180,000 per year
