Job Overview
We are in search of a detail-oriented and self-motivated Administrative Assistant to provide vital support to the Director of Operations. The successful candidate will demonstrate proficiency in problem-solving, multitasking, and adaptability within a dynamic and fast-paced environment. As an essential conduit between the Director and various departments, you will be instrumental in ensuring effective communication and seamless operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Attend and document meetings, ensuring accurate notes and follow-ups on action items.
- Handle incoming and outgoing communications on behalf of the Director of Operations.
- Coordinate travel arrangements and reservations for executive leadership as required.
- Draft and disseminate organized memos and reports with precision and attention to detail.
- Assist in the planning and execution of special events.
- Utilize various software applications to compile and present data and reports effectively.
- Uphold confidentiality and demonstrate sound judgment in administrative tasks.
- Assume accountability for decisions that influence staff, costs, and service quality.
- Willingness to support on-site teams with a collaborative approach as needed.
- Perform additional related duties as assigned.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and/or G-Suite.
- Strong interpersonal capabilities and a polished professional demeanor.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including proofreading and editing expertise.
- Food service industry experience is advantageous, though not mandatory.
Qualifications
- An Associate’s degree is required; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a similar administrative role.
