Summary
The RFP Response Writer will be responsible for the research, preparation, and writing of RFP/RFQ/RFI/ITB responses describing organizational products and services in response to bid solicitations and requests from current and prospective partners.
- This is a full-time, exempt position.
- This is a remote position.
- Standard work hours are Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. Central time with additional hours as necessary.

Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the RFP Director and appropriate stakeholders to ensure the RFP response corresponds directly to the RFP requirements of the proposer’s request and or scope of work.
- Collaborate and coordinate with internal contributors and subject matter experts to ensure content is complete, accurate, and maximizes business opportunities.
- Develop and establish a repository of templates, standard language, product collateral, exhibits, and other data resources to create high-quality and accurate responses
- Facilitate response discussions
- Create a compelling, clear, articulate, and persuasive impression of engage2learn’s experience and capabilities in all submissions including differentiators (e.g., engage2learn’s value proposition, appropriate references, supporting documentation, etc.)
- Read, review, and dissect requests for proposals (RFPs) in accordance with Proposal Management processes and protocols.
- Participate in the RFP process including in depth research, interviewing subject-matter experts, collating content and proofreading all materials.
- Work with internal teams to obtain an in-depth understanding of the product, services, and key features.
- Analyze existing and potential content, focusing on reuse and single-sourcing opportunities.
- Research, write, and organize information in a professional and credible manner.
- Maintain the information architecture.
- Participate in planning new content and content redistribution across platforms
- Collaborate with internal e2L teams to coordinate required information necessary to fulfill needs of the RFP.
- Conduct market and competitor research
- Ensure proposals and presentations are brand compliant
- Prioritize RFPs based on likelihood of winning and value
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
The successful applicant will demonstrate the following competencies:
- Bachelor’s degree in business communications, English, journalism, business, marketing, education, or related field
- 3+ years’ RFP response writing experience in public K-12 education
- Experience with data tracking and analysis
- Proven history of writing, editing and reviewing
- Experience within the fields of K-12 Education and/or Ed Tech products and services
- Strong organizational skills to juggle multiple tasks within the constraints of timelines
- High level of proficiency in technology tools and apps that increase productivity and efficiency
- Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
