As an
Integrations Engineer you'll lead projects, onboard newly acquired firms, evaluate, plan, support of the migration of on-premises Exchange and cloud email services. You'll also install new hardware, software, and travel to regional offices as needed. In this role, successful candidates need to be organized, energetic, have a strong customer service personality and experienced in Windows/O365 environments. Prior experience with large-scale, complex IT projects and implementations is a must. Ideal candidates will have Office 365 migration experience.
Responsibilities
- Migrate O365 mailbox, sites, files, schedule migration batches and implement process improvement.
- Plan and execute projects to integrate previously acquired firms’ technology to the Alera Group Enterprise Standard.
- Lead or assist with onboarding of new company acquisitions and employees.
- Discovery and documentation of all pertinent IT technology, services, and processes for acquired firms.
- Work closely with network and systems administrators on advanced projects.
- Operate as a subject matter expert and escalation point for the Service Desk and other IT teams.
- Travel to multiple offices in the local area and to the regional office during implementation, or as needed.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 4+ years experience as Desktop Support, Network Engineer, or Server Administrator.
- Office365 admin/migration experience as a lead or other high-profile role.
- Extensive project experience in server and storage migration, and Active Directory consolidation.
- Extensive experience with networking in a Windows environment, DNS, DHCP, DFS, and other related technologies.
- Experience with Azure AD/Entra ID, Microsoft Intune, Palo Alto NGFW/Cortex, and other relevant technologies.
- Excellent organization, documentation, and planning skills demonstrate the ability to effectively organize and manage multiple streams of work at a detailed level.
- Extensive knowledge of PowerShell and/or other automation and scripting tools.
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff.
- Demonstrated problem solving and customer service skills.
- Ability to be on call and work off-hours as needed.
- Reliable means of transportation for travel and the ability to lift 50+ lbs.
