Essential Job Duties:
Operate standard manual and automatic equipment.
Receive and unpack materials and supplies.
Verify receipts against purchase orders for proper shipments, shortages, damages, or defects.
Enter all information into the M2M system accurately.
Investigate discrepancies on received orders and make necessary corrections in the M2M system.
Expedite materials to the proper department or storage location.
Operate power trucks to move materials as needed.
Deliver all original paperwork to Accounting daily.
Other Duties:
Assist with shipping and crating as required.
Process all returned parts received for Customer Service.
Provide backup support for the Lead Shipping Clerk when needed.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Two years of shipping and receiving or related experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Proficient in using a computer.
Ability to utilize basic math skills, including fractions and decimals.
Competent in using and reading a tape measure, calipers, and scale.
Ability to operate a forklift and pallet jack while adhering to all safety rules.
Basic knowledge of hand and power tools (e.g., drills, hand saws, table saw) is a plus.
Self-motivated team player with the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Strong organizational and time management skills, detail-oriented, and capable of managing competing priorities to consistently meet deadlines.
Ability to collaborate effectively with others and foster cooperative relationships at all levels of the organization.
Valid California driver’s license and acceptable driver record required.
Must be able to work Saturday rotations.
