Position Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced VP of Technology to provide leadership and direction in the area of Downhole Drilling and Engineering. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the development and implementation of innovative technical strategies that will position the company as a leader in the industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical guidance to the engineering team in the development of new products and features
- Schedule and prioritize all new design or redesigns
- Develop a QA/QC program for manufacturing and repair.
- Develop a vendor audit program
- Co-develop training material
- Co-manage Technical Support teams
- Client technical support interface.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field
- 10+ years of experience in engineering leadership, with a focus on Downhole Drilling
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Experience in the Drilling sector or downhole tools
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Reports to the President
Position is located in Katy TX with travel responsibilities to Canada and intermittent trips to EUR and ME.
