Job Information
We are seeking a motivated, trustworthy Human Resources Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be employee-focused, process driven, and have a passion for adding operational excellence to the HR team. The HR Operations Coordinator will be someone willing to ask questions, be a team player, and balance employee and business needs.
The position will be located at our Shepherd Color location in West Chester.
Here's what you will do
Team Member Support
When team members have questions, you’ll be their go-to. You may help them understand their pay, find a company policy, or learn how to reach a benefit provider
Onboarding Excellence
You’ll support our new hires during orientation, enter them in ADP, and prepare their employee file
Engagement
You’ll support wellness initiatives, feedback surveys, and Employee Appreciation Day events
Data Accuracy
You will keep accurate records in ADP, employee files, and other HR systems. You’ll ensure that personnel updates, performance documentation, and leave of absence records are consistently up to date and accessible. You will work to ensure our systems communicate with each other to optimize workflow
Reporting
You will run standard reports related to employee records and payroll, create custom reports, and use data to analyze when information within our systems needs updating. You may even pick up some payroll responsibilities as you progress
Communication
You’ll ensure our team members are up to date with HR related information
Projects
You’ll support HR initiatives and lead HR projects as you build experience
Education/Experience
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or relevant field preferred
- At least two (2) to three (3) years of Human Resources experience
- HR or SHRM-CP certification preferred
Knowledge, skills, and abilities
- Proficient in using HRIS systems (ADP Workforce Now preferred)
- Demonstrated professional demeanor with strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to build relationships to achieve results; you aim to provide excellent HR service
- Proficient in handling highly sensitive information confidentially
- Possess strong attention to detail and are able to prioritize responsibilities
- Able to thrive in collaborative environments. You make the team better!
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and are willing to learn new HR systems
