The SEO Analyst III role is client-facing, must have a clear understanding of performance analytics and the ability to communicate them clearly in verbal and written form. They ensure the team stays on schedule, supervises the strategic and technical implementation of the ongoing SEO for G5 websites and ensures quality of work. They create and improve departmental processes and procedures, trains new team members, document and communicate product defects, manage team assignments, determine resource requirements to implement and facilitate as the subject matter expert. They may also be called on to assist sales for large business development opportunities.
Primary Responsibilities
- Support SEO team and other G5 teams with client-oriented tasks and responsibilities
- Manage high value client portfolio; monitor and evaluate website analytics and engage in client-facing interactions
- Be an analytics expert, with clear understanding of GA4 and RPMA, with the skillset to communicate to internal and external clients
- Work with other SEO members to create and implement Platform SEO strategies, techniques and processes in a scalable manner
- Support SEO leadership in defining and executing consistent processes and deliverables across the SEO Ongoing and Implementation team
- Coordinate internal and external training opportunities for team members.
- Maintain up-to-date SEO best practices for each vertical based on industry trends and search algorithm updates
- Responsible for Google My Business setup, verification, and ongoing optimization
- Respond to internal and external support tickets
Qualifications
Required:
- 5-7 years of experience in SEO, digital marketing, website building and/or maintenance
- Bachelors in communication, Computer Science, Marketing, Advertising
Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
- Be an SEO expert and have full understanding of technical websites
- Demonstrate out of the box thinking and troubleshooting when faced with SEO challenges
- Ability to mentor and lead junior and other SEO professionals.
- Being able to identify and solve SEO challenges, and adapt strategies based on results.
- Deep understanding of Google tools such as GSC, GA4, GTM in order to analyze website traffic, identify areas of improvement and track SEO progress.
- Be able to manage and delegate responsibilities for top priority clients. Troubleshoot client concerns, find solutions and build strong relationships to manage expectations.
- Interpret and translate SEO data into actionable insights.
