Razor is looking for a certified, experienced and highly motivated Scrum Master to join a long term federal government contract. You will go through and receive an Active Public Trust Clearance with this role. 100% remote
A qualified candidate for the role will act as both Scrum Master and Business Analyst for the team. Scrum Master duties include conducting all sprint ceremonies including daily scrum, sprint pre-planning, planning, retrospectives, and reviews. Will facilitate Quarterly Planning preparation including coordinating with the integrated teams regarding dependencies. This individual will actively participate in Backlog Management and Backlog Refinement. They will collaborate with Product Owners, Business Partners, Developers, and Testers to build and define the Product Backlog. Business Analyst duties include requirements gathering, story analysis, managing the evolution of the User Story and other backlog items, answer ad hoc questions and providing clarification/direction to development and support teams regarding user stories and functions.
Required Skills:
- Certified Scrum Master
- Experience analyzing and documenting system capability, conducting requirements gathering sessions, and analyzing data to identify issues or questions
- Experience providing status and recommendations to product owners/management
- Experience developing requirements documentation such as: User Stories, System Requirements, Use Cases (Gherkin method preferred) and Acceptance Criteria
- Understanding of Screen and User Interface designs (wireframes), Front End Test Documentation (Sprint Review), User Guides/Online Help documentation, Release Notes, End User Communication, and Training materials
- Experience with Agile processes and Scrum ceremonies: managing and facilitating backlog refinement, sprint planning, mid- sprint reviews, sprint demos, and retrospectives
- Experience with reviewing story analysis to determine conditions of satisfaction and the impact to other systems, projects, domains, and operational teams have been outlined
- Experience in managing the evolution of the User Story and other backlog items (includes but not limited to breaking down the stories, eliciting conversations, facilitating story refinement sessions)
- Knowledge of Software Development Agile Frameworks, including Scaled Agile, Scrum, and Kanban
- Ability to collaborate with Product Owners, Business Partners, developers, and testers to build and define the Product Backlog
- Ability to answer ad hoc questions and provide clarification/direction to development, test, and support teams regarding user stories and functions
- Ability to anticipate, mitigate, and resolve risks and conflicts across workgroups
- Expertise in JIRA and Confluence and Atlassian Administrator functions
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Teams
Preferred Skills:
- Experience working in a federal government agency
