About the role:
The Internal Audit Department serves the Audit Committee and assists management in achieving goals by conducting independent and objective assurance and consulting activities.
You will work on:
- The execution of audits alongside a team of experienced auditors, gaining exposure to the various components of the audit lifecycle including:
- Perform and document audit activities in accordance with professional standards and the organization’s audit methodology
- Execute testing and create work paper documentation
- Meeting with colleagues throughout the enterprise to understand and document business processes under audit
- Perform detail testing as defined by the test program to define, analyze, and validate information
Required Education & Qualification:
- Have an anticipated graduation date between December 2025 and June 2026
- Anticipated completion of bachelor’s degree program by full-time start date (January 2026 through June 2026) or equivalent experience. Master’s students completing 3+1 or 4+1 programs (a Master’s/MBA program immediately following your bachelor’s degree) may be considered
- Have a major, minor, concentration, or work experience relevant to the position. Examples include: Accounting, Finance, Business Administration & Management, General Insurance & Risk Management, and Health Services
- Ability to work full time for the duration of the 10 week internship program
Preferred Qualifications:
- Have internship, work, or project experience in related field such as finance, accounting, or business.
- Show strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Have experience with Microsoft Excel to maintain spreadsheets and perform moderately complex functions.
Compensation:
The compensation for this role is $23 per hour with 40 hours/ week
