Job Description
The Manager, Business Intelligence within Professional Services will play a pivotal role in developing and executing a data strategy that drives actionable insights and enhances service delivery. In this role, you will oversee data analysis, reporting, and the creation of data visualization tooling to inform decision-making, while ensuring data accuracy and governance. Additionally, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage BI projects, and continuously optimizing processes for financial, operational, & customer outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Lead team of analysts, data scientists, & data engineers responsible for managing business intelligence development + integration within the Professional Services organization.
- Develop, implement, & evolve business intelligence strategy in support of Professional Services organization.
- Work with key stakeholders to identify key measures + performance indicators aimed including bookings, financial, operating performance, utilization, customer satisfaction, & employee engagement.
- Drive adoption of intelligence tooling + solutions across the Professional Services organization.
- Collaborate with Professional Services leadership to establish key performance measures and enable organizational accessibility to performance data.
- Define + socialize best practices for the integration and use of intelligence processes + tooling.
- Maintain industry + market knowledge around intelligence best practices + platforms; advise + inform company of changing conditions.
- Cultivate + develop organizational talent that represent subject matter experts on Omnicell products + solutions and the value they bring to prospects + customers.
- Oversee + execute improvements aimed at the development and standardization of policies, procedures, methods, and tooling.
- Architect the PS data model in support of optimal availability, scalability, & extensibility.
- Integrate data science methods + technique into commercial forecasting + modeling efforts.
- Oversee inbound + outbound data integration development across enterprise platforms.
- Lead the standardization of analytic, dashboards, & presentation collateral.
- Collaborate with other operating + commercial divisions as required to align with overall business objectives.
- Facilitate formal and informal executive level presentations as needed.
- Other work as assigned by leadership.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, statistics, mathematics, engineering, business or related field.
- Minimum three years in managerial roles supporting large, remote teams.
- Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.).
- Programming abilities in R, Python, C#, JavaScript, or similar.
- Strong understanding of relational database structures.
- Proficient in using SQL for data querying, analysis, and script development.
- Experienced in both API and ETL data integration methodologies and establishing real-time processes.
- Exceptional analytical skills and demonstrable problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Keen attention to detail, self-motivated, and solution oriented.
- Strong interpersonal skills and an outgoing, positive attitude.
- Ability to influence others in a matrixed environment.
- Ability to lead + motivate people and encourage teamwork.
- Thought leader able to manage change and take active leadership and make timely decisions.
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA
- Five years demonstrated experience in roles leading transformational strategies within healthcare, technology service, or consulting industries
- Experience with CRM, ERP, & services automation applications or program/portfolio management tools
- Healthcare + pharmacy industry experience
Work Conditions
- Remote based
- Customer and internal team travel as required
