Job Description
Our large nonprofit client headquartered in DC requires a
copywriter. The copywriter will support an in-house creative team on various projects. You will create content that supports Meta, display, and direct mail.
This is a long-term, 18+ month, 40-hour-a-week W2 contract. All McKinley roles include a competitive benefits package.
Responsibilities
- Create original content to provide the highest quality strands for clarity and readability and raise awareness and engagements for various promotions for the audience
- Work on concepts and executing templates, animations, and production along with working alongside other team members
- Proof own work carefully, organized, and timely when presenting to stakeholders
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in liberal arts, journalism or communication
- 7+ years of experience copywriting for marketing/advertising purposes
- Experience writing for direct mail, Meta and Display ads
