Job Summary:
The Event Marketing Manager for the Americas will play a pivotal role in elevating how the organization connects with both consumers and partners through innovative and impactful events. This role is responsible for leading the strategy, planning, execution, and management of the organization-led and partner-led events across the Americas region. The Event Marketing Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that all events deliver exceptional experiences that truly MAKE the organization REAL for our audience. This role requires 30-50% travel.
Key Responsibilities:
· Event Strategy & Planning:
o Design and implement holistic event strategies that align with the organization’s marketing objectives and brand vision, leveraging creative insights, cutting-edge innovations, and industry best practices.
o Collaborate with marketing, business groups, and CP/SP to gather and align needs for events across the Americas.
· Event Execution & Management:
o Lead the planning, execution, and management of the organization-led and partner-led events, ensuring they are delivered on brand, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality.
o Write event RFPs and briefs and oversee the briefing and management of event agencies to ensure alignment with the organization’s standards.
o Manage contracts and relationships with external event agencies, ensuring innovative and awe-inspiring event experiences.
· Key FY25 Initiatives:
o the organizations Home Experience @ Major Retailer: Oversee experience design, build-out, demo content, lead generation, performance and ongoing updates to a first of its kind the organization home experience at a leading consumer electronics retailer.
o The organization @ Park MGM: Manage event plan, concepts, build, deployment, success metrics, and operations for pop up events with the organization’s partners at Live concert venue at Park MGM.
o Home Influencer Upgrade Installation Program: Identify and oversee relationship with vendor to provide turnkey purchase and installation support of the organizations enabled home theater systems in support of the organizations always on influencer program.
o the organizations Days with Key Partners: Work with experience design agencies and the organizations internal global events and technology team to develop a mobile event experience strategy and awe-inspiring concepts that bring the our Atmos mixing studio, our Cinema, and our home entertainment experiences to life for partner employee events and consumer events linked to cultural moments. Manage the build, deployment, updates, and daily operations for this mobile event experience.
o Ad Hoc Partner Events: Support Americas-specific partner events in various sectors, such as automotive, cinema, and home.
· Metrics & Reporting:
o Establish and track success metrics for all events, ensuring alignment with broader marketing objectives.
o Provide regular reports on event performance and impact and gather feedback for continuous improvement.
· Cross-Functional Collaboration:
o Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, business groups, and sales, to ensure alignment and successful event execution.
o Balance the needs of various stakeholders, including the Head of Americas Marketing and the Head of Global Events, within the dual reporting structure.
Education:
· Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Event Management, or a related field.
Experience:
· 5+ years of experience in event management, with a proven track record of successfully executing high-profile events.
· Experience in managing external event agencies and contractors.
· Strong strategic thinking, project management, and organizational skills.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
· Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities.
· Passion for creating innovative, high-quality events that resonate with both consumers and partners.
· Direct experience managing events involving large, complex audio and visual technology demos (e.g., AR, VR, immersive visual and audio setups)
Preferred Qualifications:
· Experience in the technology or entertainment industry.
· Ex-agency experience is highly preferred.
· Familiarity with the organization’s products and technologies.
· Knowledge of event management software and tools.
