About The Team
The Developer Technology team is dedicated to building the foundational technologies that enable immersive XR experiences. Our team is responsible for developing and optimizing XR technologies across the software stack, including runtime software, developer SDKs, and game engines. By empowering our developers, we help create the most advanced XR applications.
Responsibilities:
- Integrate PICO Technology/ SDK into Unity Engine
- Optimize Unity Engine for XR and PICO hardware
- Develop innovating XR game engine features
- Work with PICO SDK / Runtime team on developer-facing OpenXR extensions
- Developer ecosystem support, addressing developer pain points
- Drive XR Engine technology direction with XFN teams
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Unity or other AAA game engine development experience;
- Ability to work in big code base;
- Good understanding of modern graphic pipeline;
- Familiar with one or more graphics API (Vulkan/OpenGL/DirectX/Metal);
- Experience in C++ / C# Programming.
Preferred Qualifications:
Solid knowledge and experience in at least 2 of the following areas:
- Good understanding of Unity Engine Architecture
- Experience with AR/VR
- Experience with OpenXR
- Experience delivering AAA Games
- Experience with Android development ( SDK / NDK )
- Familiar with modern mobile CPU/GPU architecture (eg. Qualcomm SOC )
- Experience with low level performance profiling and optimization
- Experience with Native Unity Engine Plugin development
- Experience with CPU / GPU Profiling tool development

Job Information:
【For Pay Transparency】Compensation Description (annually)
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $194000 - $355000 annually.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
