Description
The Staff Accountant will provide support to Corelis financial operations and will be responsible for the day-to-day activities (e.g. accounts receivables, accounts payable, daily sales reconciliation, and daily cash & bank reconciliation) and ensure that proper accounting and recording of company transactions are performed in an accurate and timely manner.

Primary And Essential Responsibilities
- Perform the complete cycle of accounting tasks which includes but is not limited to transactional updates and reconciliations, accounts payable, accounts receivable, month-end closing journal entries, account reconciliation, general ledger, year-end physical inventory, reporting, and analysis.
- Ensure that all customer payments are reconciled accordingly to maintain the integrity of accounts receivable reports.
- Maintain all customer payment portals for invoice submission and payment coordination.
- Perform customer invoicing and reconciliation to ensure timely submission of accounts.
- Monitor the aging of vendor accounts to ensure timely payments and prevent past-due accounts.
- Manage company cash flow and resource planning to achieve efficiency.
- Obtain monthly commission accruals and required payouts to sales representatives and ensure timely commission payments.
- Work closely with financial institutions concerning banking activity changes, enhancements, and charges.
- Review all purchase requisitions made by the company, including reviewing the authorization of invoices, to ensure they are appropriate and within budget
- REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree (accounting or finance)
- 3 - 5 years experience in general accounting
- Knowledge and/or familiarity with Deltek CostPoint and related modules preferred
- General knowledge of GAAP and pertinent tax principles.
- Must be a self-starter with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Desire to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

- Ability to work with a collaborative and consultative project style.
- Ability to demonstrate efficiency in execution, flexibility, and adaptability.

Compensation And Benefits
Salary Range: $76,000 to $85,000
Base salary is just one part of your total rewards package at Corelis.
