Sales Administrator

REPORTS TO

Director of Commercial Operations

LOCATION

Headquarters is in Downtown Los Angeles, CA

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Business Planning & Analysis

Retailer Vendor Portal company expert in navigating, uploading documents/communication/submissions, and answering business related questions for the internal team.
Assist managers with administrative needs of business: customer contracts, new item set up, cost changes, internal/external audit resolution, deduction and reclaim management, etc.
Support promotional planning and maintenance in the Trade Planning System.
Partner with sales team to develop new item presentations, evaluate business trends, and create presentations supporting sales priorities and initiatives
Supports sales needs for annual business and joint planning processes
Support sales team with item setups in retailer systems
Maintain master pricing/item info lists with cross functional teams’ input.
Communication liaison between distributors and internal sales team.

Strengthen Customer Planning & Forecasting

Develop strong understanding of customer business strategies, systems and resources to support sales team with focus on continual improvement
Provide Sales Lead and Customer with information regarding inventory availability and in-stocks. Working alongside the Customer Service team.
Support ad-hoc requests for customer system data as needed
Understand customer KPI’s, and collaborate with cross functional and sales teams to deliver against retailer expectations
Collaborate with cross functional teams to communicate and ensure flawless execution of pricing, promotion, & merchandising plans

Accelerate Team Performance

Manage sample ordering requests and inventory at LA office
Own & maintain calendars for team, support record keeping expectations
Support invoicing/payment processing for the team as needed
Assist in the preparations of market visits & key internal and customer meetings

SELECTION CRITERIA

Experience

2 years of business experience is required; Consumer Packaged Goods and Walmart industry experience strongly preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Advanced Excel skillset strongly preferred
PowerPoint experience putting data and graphs into presentation ready formats

Education

Bachelors degree required

Preferred Skills

Proficiency in Spanish (highly preferred)
Strong desire to learn & succeed
Self-motivated, accountable, organized and has ability to manage and prioritize multiple/diverse priorities
Excellent oral & written communication skills
