Job Title: Part-Time Office Administrator
Location: Northwood HA6
Working Days: Wednesday and Friday (2 days a week)
Hours: Wednesday and Friday 9.00 – 5.00 (some flexibility over hours)
Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and organized Office Administrator to join our team on a part-time basis. The successful candidate will work two days a week, on Wednesday and Friday, to support the smooth running of our office. The role will involve answering the phones, handling agency enquiries, booking appointments, keeping compliance schedules for property management requirements and other office admin. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel is essential as well as excellent English.
Key Responsibilities:
Handle day-to-day enquiries from external agencies (via phone, email, etc.) and ensure they are directed to the appropriate teams or resolved promptly.
Maintain and update property management schedules to track compliance tasks, such as safety checks, certifications, and inspections.
Use Microsoft Word and Excel to create and update documents, reports, spreadsheets, and correspondence.
Liaise with property managers, contractors, and external parties to ensure timely completion of compliance work.
Organize and file office documents, both digitally and physically, ensuring easy retrieval and proper archiving.
Assist with general administrative tasks, including data entry, record keeping, and coordinating office supplies.
Update website and social media as required
Support the team in any other administrative duties as needed.
Requirements:
Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Previous experience in an administrative role within a busy office. Experience in property management or a related industry would be welcome but not essential
Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Ability to work independently and take initiative.
