Job Overview
We are actively seeking a results-oriented and collaborative Manager of Project Management to join our esteemed organization. Your responsibilities will encompass managing technical product implementations, process improvement initiatives, and pharmacy client integrations. You will work closely with the Director of Project Management to enhance existing processes and lead the project management team.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and direct the implementation methodology for Project Managers, serving as a subject matter expert and champion for the project delivery process.
- Oversee all aspects of project management functions for allocated team members and ensure compliance with scope management practices.
- Evaluate and authorize status reports, project schedules, financial summaries, and other key documentation.
- Mentor team members in the effective use of JIRA and Smartsheet, ensuring adherence to best practices and seamless project transitions.
- Drive business outcomes and resource utilization while prioritizing quality over mere deadlines.
- Act as a working leader, forecasting resource needs and optimizing staffing ratios and workflows.
- Proactively identify and manage risks within the client portfolio, ensuring high-priority programs receive adequate resources.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to internal and external clients for your assigned Project Managers.
- Promote and implement best practices in project management methodology to guarantee consistency and quality in all initiatives.
- Engage effectively with stakeholders at all organizational levels, from individual contributors to executives.
Required Skills
- Strong command of Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
- Familiarity with project management software such as Smartsheet.
- Proficiency in Agile methodologies and software (i.e., JIRA).
- Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills.
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Demonstrated organizational skills and time management capabilities.
- Capability to work independently and maintain your own schedule.
- Robust leadership and team-building skills.
- Experience managing intricate projects involving cross-functional teams.
- Skillful in facilitating discussions with clients on various program issues and industry-related topics.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) in a relevant field.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in a project management role.
- Proven experience within the healthcare and/or pharmaceutical sectors is preferred.
- PMP certification is highly desirable.
- CSM certification is advantageous.
