[NOTE: This is an unpaid, volunteer listing]
This is an opportunity to contribute to the success of open source software in cybersecurity!
Our mission is to make cloud security software available for anyone, and we're looking for cyber security professionals who can help beta test our open source cloud security platform.
"Fix Inventory" is an open source cloud asset inventory that combines a graph-based asset inventory with compliance checks and rules.
https://github.com/someengineering/fixinventory
Fix Inventory supports AWS, GCP, Azure and DigitalOcean.
We're now building a new UI on top of Fix Inventory, and are looking for feedback on the product experience. The initial scope of the UI will have have four product capabilities:
- Infrastructure Dashboard
- Security Graph Explorer
- Multicloud Asset Inventory
- Compliance Dashboard
The new UI will ship in October, and we're looking for your input before we ship it!
Responsibilities
The feedback process consists of a 30-min Zoom call.
- review product mockups in Figma
- provide feedback on features and capabilities
- share ideas for 2-3 use cases
You do not need to deploy the product to give feedback, we'll share the Figma designs with you. If you do want to run Fix Inventory, we of course will help you.
Qualifications
You need to have at least 2 years of experience working as a cloud or cybersecurity engineer. You should be familiar with cloud security posture management and concepts like non-human identities.
Again, please note that this is an unpaid volunteer opportunity, to help us build the future of open source cloud security software.
