Job Summary: The SR SEO Specialist will work with different departments to maintain and optimize our six service-brand websites and assets (such as GBPs) for search engines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute tests, collect and analyze data and results, identify trends and insights in order to achieve rankings in SERPs.
- Track, report, and analyze website analytics.
- Conduct weekly, monthly and quarterly SEO audits.
- Optimize marketing copy and landing pages for search engine marketing.
- Perform ongoing keyword discovery, expansion and optimization.
- Research and analyze competitors for each brand.
- Develop and implement link-building strategies.
- Coordinate with outside agencies to deliver on new and existing strategies.
- Work with the development team to ensure SEO best practices are properly implemented from a technical SEO standpoint.
- Work with editorial and marketing teams to drive SEO in content creation and content programming.
- Research, recommend, and implement changes to website architecture, content, linking, and other factors to improve SEO positions for target keywords.
- Stay up to date with current SEO trends and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Preferred: Bachelor's degree in marketing, data analytics, business administration or other related fields.
- Preferred: Experience in SEO for franchises or multi-location national companies.
- Preferred: Experience with local SEO.
- Required: Minimum experience of 3 years as an SEO specialist or SEO-related position.
- Required: Experience in writing and optimizing blog content with the intention of ranking
- in SERPs.
- Required: Experience in writing/editing SEO-optimized marketing copy.
- Required: Experience analyzing in-house data, keywords, and competitors utilizing tools such as SEMrush, GA4, Google Search Console, etc.
- Required: Experience in running SEO audits and creating reports via excel and powerpoint.
- Required: Ability to organize and manage tasks in order to achieve efficient and consistent outcomes in day-to-day marketing efforts.
- Required: Franchise experience.
