About The Role
This is a remote position, but candidates must reside within the state listed in the job posting.
As the Project Manager for Rocket Lawyer's General and Administrative (G&A) function, you will play a pivotal role in coordinating and executing cross-functional projects that span multiple departments, ensuring the seamless fulfillment of G&A requirements, which includes Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, and Legal.
The role will report to the Director of PMO but with strong dotted lines to G&A leads, with whom you will collaborate most closely. Strong candidates will thrive in entrepreneurial and ambiguous environments and excel at clarifying to-dos, tracking down follow ups and ensuring deadlines are met.
Responsibilities - Coordinate cross-functional projects involving multiple departments to ensure G&A requirements (Accounting, Finance, HR, Legal) are fulfilled across the organization, including, but not limited to:
- Bi-Annual company-wide performance review process
- Annual strategic & financial planning process
- Coordinate action items from monthly C-Suite financial reviews
- Implementation or upgrade of financial systems and software
- Collaborate with stakeholders in product, sales, marketing and engineering to maintain up-to-date finance and business alignment, plans, statuses, and communications
- Partner with other PMO stakeholders to interlock project plans and drive alignment across teams
- Act as a liaison between the G&A team and other departments to facilitate communication and collaboration on financial or HR matters
- Identify areas for improvement and develop frameworks to standardize project lifecycles with the business partners
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
- 8+ years experience as a Project Manager, with at least 2 years supporting a company with 300-600 employees
- Project Management experience supporting multiple business functions including finance
- Ability to liaison between business partners to coordinate project kick-offs, stakeholder meetings, and drive projects to completion
- Ability to manage tight deadlines, prioritize workload and achieve effective results in a fast-paced, dynamic, and often ambiguous environment
- Will need to work with international teams on different time zones
- Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a demanding, fast-paced environment
- Strong ability to build and maintain positive relationships with many different business partners
