Job Overview
We are in search of two skilled Technical Writers to join our team on a temporary basis to support the development and execution of crucial training materials and policies for IT staff. This role will concentrate on the Software Development Life Cycle and the adaptation of ITIL v3, ensuring that our IT professionals are well-equipped with the necessary tools and knowledge.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the IT Business Transformation Analyst to design and develop comprehensive policies and procedures.
- Create and maintain training materials that meet the evolving needs of IT staff.
- Develop engaging e-learning modules to facilitate training and onboarding processes for new employees.
- Stay aligned with the IT department to accurately assess training requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
Required Skills
- Exceptional writing abilities coupled with strong technical knowledge.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills, capable of addressing a diverse audience.
- Proficient understanding of the English language, including grammar and composition.
- Ability to evaluate resources for accuracy and extract pertinent information from extensive data sets.
- Strong analytical capabilities to address work-related challenges.
- Robust time management and organizational skills.
- Basic familiarity with technology-related terminology.
- Experience in policy and procedure development, as well as crafting training content.
- Proficiency in workplace e-learning tools and Microsoft Word.
- Familiarity with ITIL principles or certification.
- Experience with Articulate for e-learning development is preferred.
Qualifications
- A preferred candidate will possess a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in technical writing and training development.
- Proven expertise in creating policies, procedures, and e-learning resources is essential.

Compensation And Benefits
- W-2 Rate - up to $40/hour
- Full-time commitment of 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday
- Flexible and fully remote work environment
- Anticipated 12-month contract duration.
