Our client, a home health care service in New Jersey, is looking for a SEO Content Specialist to join their team for a remote freelance opportunity!
Responsibilities
- Local office pages
- Coordinate with teams for:
- Office openings
- Closings
- Relocations
- Content updates
- Local Office marketing intake requests
- Local office listings
- Work with listing vendor, SOCi
- Office opening, closings, content updates
- Research duplicate listings, or revalidations
- Link listings with new page launches
- Coordinate redirects when office information changes
- Communicate with Marketing team on search engine optimizations for office listings.
- Website maintenance
- Content updates as needed
- Blog publishing and content recommendations for SEO, brand visibility
- Keyword tracking
- Post website launch optimizations
- Google Search Console fixes:
- 404 redirects
- Video indexing
- Page indexing
- Support content transition from a third-party managed site to new domain
Skills
- Keyword Research: Ability to identify and analyze relevant keywords for local SEO.
- On-Page SEO: Understanding of best practices for title tags, meta descriptions, headings, and internal linking.
- Local SEO: Knowledge of local search algorithms, Google My Business optimization, and local listing management.
- Editing Skills: Proficiency in proofreading and editing content to ensure clarity and adherence to brand voice.
- Contentful Experience: Familiarity with Contentful for updating, managing, and structuring website content effectively.
- Website Performance: Understanding of page speed optimization, mobile-friendliness, and user experience factors.
- Schema Markup: Knowledge of structured data and how to implement it to enhance local search visibility.
- Competitor Analysis: Ability to analyze competitors' content strategies and performance.
- Market Trends: Staying updated on industry trends, local market dynamics, and changes in SEO algorithms.
- Time Management: Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
- Collaboration: Working well with other teams, such as marketing and design, to align content strategies.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Ability to communicate ideas and strategies effectively to team members and stakeholders.
- Feedback Incorporation: Skill in receiving and applying feedback to improve content quality.
