The Software Testing Analyst will work with the Software Development Team in a flexible and diverse environment to lead the writing, planning, and execution of testing on various software, telecom and reporting systems. They will perform a crucial function at LSA, being responsible for protecting the functionality of client-facing and operational systems. The Software Testing Analyst will detect software failures so that defects may be discovered and corrected prior to implementation.
Responsibilities
- Develop and document application test plans based on software requirements and technical specifications
- Perform testing on various software, telecom and reporting systems
- Record and document results and conduct comparison to expected results
- Document anomalies and issues
- Maintain database of software defects
- Coordinate and collect feedback on user acceptance testing
- Explore automated testing solutions
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Quality assurance, auditing and testing experience
- Solid computer skills including Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of quality assurance methodologies and tools
- Ability to independently make decisions and problem solve
- Strong attention to detail and ability to plan and organize
- Experience with software development life cycle and methodologies
- Communication skills to work with involved stakeholders
- Experience with Azure DevOps, JIRA, or similar system
