Role Description

We are seeking a creative and enthusiastic Marketing and Social Media Intern to join our team as we prepare to hold an exciting event, the UAAD Art Festival, in New York City. As a Marketing and Social Media Intern at UAAD, you will be responsible for assisting in developing and implementing social media strategies, creating engaging content, and analyzing campaign performance. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in digital marketing, social media management, and content creation within the art and design industry. This is a remote position.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in developing and executing social media strategies to increase engagement and reach on platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
Create and schedule compelling and visually appealing social media content, including posts, stories, reels, and videos.
Support email marketing campaigns, including drafting content, managing contact lists, and tracking performance metrics.
Conduct market research to identify trends, audience preferences, and opportunities for growth.
Assist with the creation of promotional materials, press releases, and media kits.
Analyze and report on the performance of social media and marketing efforts, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.

Qualifications

Strong written and verbal communication skills
Knowledge of social media platforms and strategies
Creativity and a passion for art and design
Marketing or communications background is a plus
