INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY (IT) MANAGER

We are looking for a team-first, high performing, and data-driven IT Manager to join our Information Technology Team to support Luna Park. The IT Manager will be responsible for ensuring system and network reliability during operations of our amusement parks and food and beverage locations. As fieldwork is paramount, the IT Manager will lead IT projects in coordination with internal resources to achieve project deadlines, as well as lead and manage a team.

Central Amusement International Inc. (CAI) is an amusement park development and management company located in New York City. In 2003, CAI developed Victorian Gardens at Wollman Rink in Central Park and in 2010 developed Luna Park in Coney Island, at the site of the birthplace of the amusement park industry, and currently manages both locations. CAI is part of the Zamperla Group, which is the worldwide leader in the manufacturing of amusement rides.

POSITION: IT Manager

LOCATION: Luna Park in Coney Island, 1000 Surf Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11224

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible for network and system reliability
Responsible for IT projects
Responsible for troubleshooting issues during operations, installation, and upgrades
Responsible for network wiring – ethernet and optical cabling (Cat6, patch panels)
Responsible for L2 and L3 networking and network protocols (switches, routers, access points, firewalls)
Responsible for PC, Mac, and servers support (Hardware and Software)
Assist with Active Directory, DHCP, and DNS
Assist with Microsoft 365 System Administration
Assist in surveillance system installation and update
Assist operations managers with IT hardware and software to ensure operational continuity
Provide IT technical assistance to all users at Luna Park in Coney Island
Provide remote IT technical assistance to all users at CAI Headquarters in Boonton, NJ
Responsible for IT asset management
Responsible to manage, lead and develop IT Team, including schedule maintenance, performance management, and training
Participate in training programs
Maintain professional knowledge up to date by participating in courses and educational opportunities
Perform other duties expected of the IT Manager position and assist in all other critical needs of the Company as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

5-7year work experience with Windows systems infrastructure, Linux infrastructure, database, email/collaboration, networking, security, and enterprise-class applications, as well as Management Experience
Bachelor’s degree in IT/Computer Science
Hospitality Experience is a plus

Ability to work independently and work in fast-paced environment, adapting to shifting priorities
Strong networking background (i.e., switches, routers, firewalls, wireless) and the ability to troubleshoot issues during installation and upgrades
Advanced experience of power tools usage
Driver’s license
Advanced knowledge of PC, Mac, and servers (Hardware and Software)
Advanced knowledge of active directory, DHCP, and DNS
Administrator level of Microsoft 365
A+, CCNA, MCSA are preferred but not required
Electronics and electrical equipment test experience
Enterprise monitoring applications (PRTG, NAGIOS) experience
Surveillance system installation and upgrade experience
Knowledge of POS system a plus
Ability to lift 70 pounds
Ability to work outdoor in amusement parks and food and beverage locations
Ability to work at heights, up to 20 feet
