The Social Media & Marketing Manager position requires a minimum of 2 years experience, with strong social media management and digital content experience, complemented by sharp communication and leadership skills. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with an eagerness to demonstrate their creativity and strategic thinking. Account Managers are responsible for executing account deliverables whilst maintaining client satisfaction. A passion for food, restaurants and the hospitality industry, as well as a desire to learn more about marketing, social media and brand strategy, are keys to success in this role.
Please note: To better support our clients needs this is a hybrid position that requires residency in the San Francisco Bay Area. We occasionally support our clients in-person for key events and/or activations.

- Expertly uses Sprout Social, Klear, Canva, Google Calendar, Docs, Sheets and Slides
Responsibilities
A successful candidate will be able to do the following for up to seven clients:
- Manage proactive and reactive communication with each client in a timely manner, ensuring their needs and deadlines are met and tasks are assigned to internal team members
- Collaborate with account teams on the planning and execution of client events and activations
- Directly manage client social media profiles, including, but not limited to, Facebook, X, Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, and LinkedIn - includes content creation, from captions to original photography
- Create and manage social media ad campaigns through Facebook Business Manager
- Build out monthly content calendars
- Post social media content using Sprout Social and native platforms where needed
- Engage in influencer outreach and manage influencer campaigns from start to finish
- When relevant, manage website build-outs with web developer/designer vendors, including writing site-maps, website copy, creating and managing timelines and deadlines, etc.
- Oversee and manage professional photo and video shoots by identifying and coordinating with local photographers/videographers, creating shot lists, timelines, and reviewing/editing final images
- Responsible for creating social media content on behalf of af&co. clients. Social media content includes: photography, “snackable” video clips, Instagram Stories and Reels.
- Assist in overall digital brand strategy and messaging for all clients
- Work closely with account directors to determine and track account KPIs
- Create quarterly activity reports and present KPIs
- Measure campaign ROI and utilizes data to make informed strategic or tactical recommendations
- Develop a social media playbook in collaboration with account directors that outlines content look-and-feel and overall social media strategy, taking into account current social media trends
