Hays is working with awell-established commercial general contractor specializing in large new builds ($15M+). They pride themselves on delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget.
As a Project Manager you will play a crucial role in overseeing the successful execution of commercial construction projects. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage project timelines, and ensure adherence to quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Project Planning: Develop detailed project plans, including scope, budget, and timeline.
- Stakeholder Management: Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
- Risk Mitigation: Identify and address potential risks to project success.
- Quality Control: Ensure work meets industry standards and client expectations.
- Budget Management: Monitor project costs and adjust as needed.
- Schedule Adherence: Keep projects on track and meet deadlines.
- Reporting: Provide regular updates to senior management and stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field is an asset.
- Minimum 3-10 years of experience as a Project Manager in commercial construction.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- PMP certification completed or in progress (asset).
