Job Summary:
The Sales and Marketing Operations Specialist will be responsible for optimizing our sales and marketing processes, tools, and performance metrics. This role requires a blend of analytical skills, technical aptitude, and a deep understanding of sales and marketing strategies. The ideal candidate will drive operational efficiency, support data-driven decision-making, and ensure seamless coordination between the sales and marketing teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process Optimization: Streamline and enhance sales and marketing workflows to improve efficiency and effectiveness
- Data Management: Oversee the integrity and accuracy of sales and marketing data within CRM and other systems
- Reporting and Analytics: Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide actionable insights
- Technology Management: Manage and optimize marketing automation, CRM systems, and other sales and marketing technologies
- Campaign Support: Collaborate with marketing to execute and monitor campaigns, ensuring alignment with sales objectives
- Lead Management: Implement and manage lead scoring, nurturing, and handoff processes to ensure high-quality leads are delivered to sales
- Sales Support: Assist the sales team with tools, resources, and insights to enhance their productivity and success
- Training and Documentation: Develop training materials and documentation to ensure team members are proficient with tools and processes
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product, customer success, and finance teams to ensure alignment and support business objectives
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and lead initiatives to enhance overall operational performance
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in sales or marketing operations, preferably in a technology startup environment
- Proficiency with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and marketing automation tools (e.g., Marketo, Pardot)
- Strong analytical skills and experience with data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau)
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality
