The Role:
As a Copywriter at Farrynheight, you will play a vital role as a member of our creative team. Reporting to the Copy Director, you will work across several categories to deliver outstanding copy supporting key clients. You’ll work across email, social (paid and owned), SMS, web, and campaign to ensure that every piece of creative is on-point tonally. You’ll love this role if you’re a true team player with a “no-task-too-small mentality.” You live and breathe copy, knowing that a subject line can be as powerful as a campaign tagline, and treat both equally. Key Responsibilities:
Creative Leadership:
- Lead the creative process across multiple accounts, ensuring the highest quality of work.
- Develop compelling and engaging copy for a variety of platforms including digital, print, social media, and more.
- Inspire and mentor junior copywriters, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
- Present creative concepts and campaigns to clients, effectively communicating the vision and value of the work.
- Partner with design, social, and marketing teams to brainstorm creative concepts.
Client Engagement:
- Hold the room with clients, confidently presenting work and articulating creative strategies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing exceptional service.
- Collaborate with the client management team to ensure client expectations are met and exceeded.
Operational Excellence:
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met and work is delivered to the highest standard.
- Provide clear and constructive feedback to the team, ensuring continuous improvement and growth.
- Utilize strong time management skills to balance creative work with operational responsibilities.
- Implement efficient processes to streamline workflow and enhance productivity.
Strategic Insights:
- Provide valuable insights and recommendations to the client management team to drive account success.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices, incorporating new ideas into creative strategies.
- Partner with Copy Director to analyze and optimize existing processes.
- Analyze campaign performance and leverage data to refine and optimize copy for maximum impact.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- 2-5 years of experience in copywriting, ideally in the wellness and fitness spaces
- Experience writing across channels, and strong understanding of their nuances
- Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and time management skills
- Self-starter who can thrive in a remote work environment
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Passion for the creative industry
- Strong portfolio of relevant work
