Position: LinkedIn Content Strategist & Content Writer
Location:Remote (U.S. or Canada only)
Type: Monthly Retainer Contract
Compensation: $800-$1,000 MAX per month (DOE)
Overview:
I am seeking a content strategist & content writer with a strong background in marketing and branding. This candidate will write a minimum of three (3) LinkedIn posts per week, each approximately 200-350 words. This role requires someone who understands and specializes in LinkedIn content and can capture the client’s voice, creating concise yet impactful posts that resonate with the existing audience. The ideal candidate should be able to research, provide insights, and take strong initiative in deciding what content will perform best, be highly organized, and be currently active on LinkedIn. The candidate will not be required to assist with posting content or engaging on behalf of the client.
About the Client:
The client is an entrepreneur, mentor, and virtual assistant who shares inspiring and relatable stories from the past to motivate and uplift others. These posts must be authentic, show authority as a thought leader, and increase engagement while boosting the brand as a whole.
Confidentiality: My client's identity will remain confidential during the interview phase. Only final candidates will receive more information to move on to the next step.
Key Responsibilities:
- Write a minimum of three (3) posts per week, each approximately 250-350 words (12 total per month)
- Proactively identify high-performing LinkedIn content strategies that support the client’s goals and business objectives
- Research and develop engaging topics based on the client’s experiences
- Ensure all content aligns with the client’s brand voice and style
- Collaborate with the client to understand the details of stories and themes
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Must be located in the United States or Canada
- Fluent in English - Both written and verbal communication
- Background in marketing and personal branding strategy (examples may be requested)
- Proven experience as a content strategist
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills
- Strong research skills
- Highly organized and proactive
- Familiarity with Trello is a plus
- Updated full profile and *currently active* on LinkedIn and within the last year
- A new writing sample and a full content strategy plan will be required for candidates who make the shortlist. The use of AI tools will not be tolerated at any time and may result in immediate disqualification.
