· Excellent technical writing, editing, and verbal communication skills in English.
· Experience with Madcap Flare.
· Experience writing in accord with a style guide.
· A keen eye for detail. Catch errors in the UI, peer edits, and in your own work.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills: Be able to forge relationships and work collaboratively with fellow writers, software engineers, program managers, QA engineers, and support personnel.
· Exceptional organizational skills.
Qualifications:
· 5+ years of software technical writing experience.
· Experience using JIRA and Confluence (Wiki).
· Experience working in a highly collaborative (Agile) environment.
· Experience working independently in a cross-functional team setting.
· Writing samples and participation in a writing test required for consideration.

The Job:
· Take our existing user guides (about 800 pages of content), and optimize them for a related product.
· About 85-90% reformatting and eliminating current content.
· About 10-15% writing new content.
