Position: Paid Search Specialist (Part-time up to 20 hours a week)

Overview:
This position will be an hourly part-time employee working from approximately 10 to up to 20 hours a week on a as-needed, as available basis. This person would be responsible for planning, managing, and optimizing paid search campaigns across multiple platforms, including Google Ads, Bing Ads, and other search engines. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of SEM strategies, analytics, and performance marketing with a focus on driving ROI for agency clients. The role demands a blend of creativity, analytical prowess, and client-focused communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Campaign Management:
- Develop, implement, and optimize paid search campaigns to achieve client objectives (e.g., lead generation, e-commerce sales, brand awareness).
- Conduct keyword research, ad copy creation, A/B testing, and landing page optimization.
- Manage budgets across campaigns, ensuring efficient allocation and spend pacing.
- Monitor and adjust bidding strategies to maximize campaign performance.
- Performance Analysis:
- Analyze campaign performance using Google Analytics, SEMrush, or similar tools.
- Generate weekly and monthly performance reports with actionable insights.
- Conduct competitive analysis and market research to identify opportunities and threats.
- Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), such as CTR, CPC, CPA, and ROI.
- Client Communication:.
- Work collaboratively with clients to understand their business goals and translate them into effective SEM strategies.
- Present campaign strategies and performance data during client meetings, offering recommendations for improvement.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with the broader digital marketing team, including Display/Social team, and other Digital Team members, to ensure integrated campaign efforts.
- Collaborate with other teams to develop/recommend engaging ad copy, assets, and landing page optimizations.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in SEM and digital marketing.
- Experiment with new tools, technologies, and methodologies to improve campaign performance.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Experience:
- 3+ years of experience in paid search marketing, preferably in an agency setting.
- Proven track record of managing and optimizing PPC campaigns with a focus on performance.
- Skills:
- Google Ads certification required / Bing Ads certification a plus.
- Proficient in Google Ads, Bing Ads, and Google Analytics.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Familiarity with third-party tools such as SEMrush, Moz, iSiponage or Ahrefs is a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple campaigns and clients simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field. Equivalent work experience will be considered.
