The Opportunity
We're seeking a versatile Marketing Manager to drive our marketing initiatives and content strategy across multiple channels. Reporting to the Head of Growth and partnering closely with the CEO, you'll play a crucial role building out the marketing team as the 2nd hire contributing to executing marketing campaigns, content creation, and coordinating various projects that educate and engage our audience about the benefits of direct indexing and our innovative platform.

Key Responsibilities
Marketing Ops:
- Handle end-to-end marketing campaign execution, from contract signing to campaign launch, including coordinating creatives, founder appearances in podcasts, ensuring compliance, and sharing metrics
- Implement and manage marketing tools such as Iterable for emails and drips, Google Analytics for campaign metrics, Impact for affiliate management, and run queries on Superset
- Coordinate new product launch plans, including announcement emails, drip campaign adjustments, and updates to landing pages and app store listings
- Act as a bridge between the PR agency and the Frec team
Content:
- Create compelling, hook-driven content that resonates with our target audience across various channels including social media, blog posts, and product touch points (e.g., tooltips, help pages, modals)
- Develop and execute content marketing strategies to attract and engage potential customers, educating them about direct indexing and Frec's unique value proposition
- Proficiency in understanding what content and creatives work best together
- Manage and optimize the content calendar to ensure a consistent flow of high-quality, relevant content
- Collaborate with the content creation partner’s to produce, review, and refine content, ensuring alignment with Frec's brand voice and messaging strategy
- Analyze content performance and use data-driven insights to continuously improve engagement and conversion rates
- Write and refine press releases, emails, and other communications to effectively announce new products, features, or company milestones
- Oversee the content review process, ensuring all materials meet quality standards and comply with financial industry regulations
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in marketing with a focus on content creation and project management, minimum 2 years at early stage start up
- Exceptional writing and editing skills with a portfolio demonstrating versatility across different content types and channels
- Strong organizational, time management, and multi-tasking skills
- Proficiency in marketing automation tools, CRM systems, and analytics platforms
- Experience in coordinating with multiple stakeholders and managing complex projects
- Understanding of financial concepts, particularly in investing and personal finance
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment and adapt quickly to changing priorities
Nice-to-Haves
- D2C experience
