Job Description:

We are hiring an experienced Business Product Lead/Scrum Master to work for us as our direct, W2 salaried or hourly employee. You will work for our client in a potential long-term, multi-year contract position as a business lead responsible for managing and supporting a large and robust public-facing online portal. You will:

· Proactively, clearly, consistently, and regularly communicate and collaborate with a large number and variety of customers and vendor partners, including internal and external stakeholders.

· Tailor communication to the audience.

· Lead two daily touch-base meetings – one in the morning, and one in the late afternoon. The first call is to review tickets in ServiceNow, drive resolution, identify defects and open tickets, and add them to the release plan. The second meeting is for production and application support.

· Successfully and calmly interface with several personalities.

· Review analyze, and evaluate user requirements and system functionality.

· Perform detailed requirements analysis, document processes, and validate system performance against requirements

· Manage backlogs, translate business needs into epics, features, user stories and tasks, and review work of other product owners providing guidance where needed.

· Conduct and lead analysis, change impact analysis, investigate issues and defects.

· Lead team on deliverables, identifying and implementing process and efficiency improvements.

· Lead planning activities, collaborate with a wide variety of customers, vendors, and other internal and external stakeholders.

· Lead and conduct release activities, demos, acceptance testing.

· Produce feature and release documentation, documents for presentations.

· Provide subject matter expertise, leveraging experience in Medicaid programs and systems, for additional areas of interest

· Work in an environment which does not use classic agile practices. For example, releases are completed monthly.

· Address resistance to change using reason, logic, and patience.

· Work for a client whose mission is to support the citizens of Ohio (and whose culture reflects that purpose).

Required Skills and Experience:

· Medicaid provider management system experience is required (notably Provider Network Management – PNM)

· Adaptability and personality to address the client’s needs and solve the problem.

· Ability to successfully and calmly interface with multiple personalities.

· At least 3 years of experience working on government-sponsored health care programs.

· Proven history of proactively, constantly, consistently, and regularly communicating with all customers, clients, vendors, and other internal and external stakeholders.

· Extraordinary interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills are the key to success for the selected candidate. You must be able to present complex technical/analytical concepts to customers and all stakeholders and know how to communicate based on the audience.

· Proven strong organizational skills.

· Proven ability and experience in identifying, understanding, and addressing competing priorities given that you are working with multiple varied stakeholders (internal and external). Ability to effectively prioritize is crucial.

· Ability to work successfully in a change-resistant environment using reason and excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

· ServiceNow experience

· Natural analytical way of thinking

· Able to explain difficult concepts to non-technical users.

· Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

· Operational data analysis experience

· At least 7 years of professional experience documenting business, systems, and/or data requirements

· At least 5 years of agile team experience as a product owner, analyst, or Scrum Master.

· Currently live within one hour of driving distance of Columbus, OH
