Job Details
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to define and implement the strategic technical direction of the company.
- Design and develop robust, scalable software architectures based on SOLID principles.
- Provide expert guidance and consulting to project teams on software architecture, design, and coding practices.
- Evaluate and select appropriate software or hardware and suggest integration methods.
- Oversee progress of development team to ensure consistency with initial design.
- Provide technical guidance and coaching to developers and engineers.
- Ensure software meets all requirements of quality, security, modifiability, extensibility, etc.
- Regularly review and optimize the architecture for maintainability, scalability, and performance.
- Continually research emerging technologies and propose changes where needed.
- Collaborate with other professionals to determine functional and non-functional requirements for new software or applications.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a software development role, software architecture role, or a related field.
- Deep understanding and experience with SOLID principles.
- Proven experience as a software architect.
- Excellent knowledge of software and application design and architecture.
- Understanding of software quality assurance principles.
- High quality organizational and leadership skills.
- Outstanding communication and presentation abilities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a creative approach.
- Able to clearly communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Proven experience in project management and service-oriented architecture (SOA).
- Knowledge of selected coding languages (e.g. C#, Java, JavaScript).
- Familiarity with various operating systems and databases.
- Experience with cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure).
- Professional certification in TOGAF, CITA, EACOE, or similar is a plus.
