Locus Robotics is a leader in the rapidly growing eCommerce order fulfillment optimization space. Our solution helps warehouse owners attain 2-3X efficiency improvement over cart-picking operations by empowering pickers to work collaboratively with our robots. All this is accomplished while integrating with the operator's Warehouse Management System, utilizing and optimizing existing facility infrastructure.
Locus Robotics is seeking an experienced, dynamic Project Manager for our Deployment Team. In this role, you'll be responsible for all aspects of project management, including developing project plans, working with stakeholders and project resources throughout deployment projects and making critical path decisions during deployments. You will manage multiple projects and team members across diverse geographic locations using project management best practices.
Travel approximately 50% of the time is required for this role.
Responsibilities
- Full solution deployment project life cycle ownership, from project handoff from sales to customer acceptance and transition to support.
- Development of project schedule, cross functional plans, and project resource plans.
- Ensure project remains on track - orchestrate and communicate with outward-facing project teams involving dedicated and borrowed staff, client resources and outside vendors, to ensure that all resources are on track with project requirements, deadlines, and schedules.
- Assure customer satisfaction, coordinating team resources to address customer issues with speed and efficiency.
- Conducting post-project evaluation and identifying successful and unsuccessful project elements.
- Communicate project status weekly through project dashboard reporting process.
- Development of issue mitigation options cross functionally, gaining approval of plans, and ensuring execution of those plan.
Qualifications
- 3+ years' experience in high tech project management.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, CIS or a related technical field.
- Proven ability to manage outward-facing project teams involving dedicated cross functional staff, client resources, and outside vendors.
- Experience in 3PL, logistics, supply chain, warehousing desired.
- Proficiency in developing and maintaining complex project plans related applications.
- Experience with WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) a plus.
- Exceptional English written and communication skills.
- Customer interfacing skills, strong business acumen.
- Asana, Jira, NetSuite, Salesforce, Aha, experience a plus.
