We take our clients through the trends.ceo Leadership Marketing Program, designed to help executives build their reputation and revenue by developing smart strategies, modern videos, and authentic writing. Most of our work is for LinkedIn.
The video production component of the business is taking off. We’re seeking an experienced Creative Producer & Project Manager to be our second-in-command, reporting to the Founder. You’re ambitious, enjoy wearing multiple hats, and thrive in small teams.
Job Summary
Production and post-production (25%)
- Organize the production end-to-end, and join us at the shoots in downtown Toronto (most productions are on-site at the client’s office).
- Create production and editing briefs that align with client strategies.
- Manage the post-production and our editors (tool: frame io).
- Note - the role does not typically involve tasks such as budgeting, securing locations, talent, or props.
Creative direction and story editing (25%)
- Turn 5-10 minute interviews into 1-2 minute exceptional videos by selecting the right time codes, and researching/discovering great stock videos, b-roll, music, and text animations. (tool: Artlist).
Project management (25%)
- Quarterback of all video projects. You are running the show!
- Lead the weekly/daily Team Meetings with the Founder and vendors.
- Project manage all company initiatives (beyond videos) and track everything.
- Lead the migration of our Excel sheets to an online tool (e.g., ClickUp).
Client communication (15%)
- Organize and deliver all client materials on time.
- Communicate and be the key point of contact for clients.
Maintain documentation (10%)
- Work with the Founder to create and maintain key documentation such as Video Style Guides, client strategies, content calendars etc.

Qualifications
Someone with the combined skillsets of video production, project management, and creative direction, will do great in this role. If you also have a solid understanding of business/consulting issues, then you will thrive!
- 5+ years working as a creative producer, producer, or creative director.
- Experience in creatively combining stock footage, music, and video clips into engaging videos.
- Strong project management, proofreading skills, and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with LinkedIn and business acumen related to advisory/finance/consulting are big bonuses.
