Our client is a Fintech startup that uses AI to offer auto loans to customers.
Responsibilities:
- Track and report on key functional metrics including vendors that are used, vendor spend, and competitive vendor alternatives
- Take the lead in analyzing spend activity to identify cost savings
- Perform industry research to report to management on competitive options that exist
- Establish, implement, and communicate formal procurement processes
- Negotiate agreements with suppliers that achieve the optimal combination of service, cost, and quality
- Work closely with other departments to ensure meeting all procurement needs in an efficient and cost-effective manner
- Ongoing leadership of enterprise wide vendor management process
- Take ownership of the inventory management of GPS units purchased by sales reps and dealerships
Qualifications:
- Demonstrates ownership of assigned tasks and ability to problem solve
- Self-motivated, detail oriented and analytical with strong written and verbal communication skills
- 5+ years of procurement experience
- Bachelor’s degree in a business or technical field, Master’s preferred
