Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Project Manager, you will be essential in guiding the strategic planning and oversight of construction projects related to electrical power, communications, and industrial facilities. Your role will require advanced expertise in various engineering disciplines, including civil, structural, and mechanical engineering.
You will provide critical insights and advice to general and executive management, influencing high-level business decisions. Your leadership will be vital in executing Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) turnkey projects, ensuring they align with our clients’ objectives.
- Direct program management for significant clients, managing project aspects, financial oversight, bidding, safety, field support, and administration.
- Mentor and train Project Managers and Assistant Project Managers, fostering their professional growth.
- Travel as needed to supervise and manage construction projects.
Required Skills
- Strong organizational capabilities with exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including understanding of basic spreadsheet structure, formatting, formulas, and keyboard shortcuts.
- Familiarity with Vista (Viewpoint) software is an advantage.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or Construction Management.
- At least 10 years of project management experience with complex projects in transmission line or substation construction, or equivalent experience with high-voltage electrical systems.
- Prior experience in the electrical design of substations and switchyards is advantageous.
- Must successfully pass all mandated drug and background checks.
- Valid driver's license and ability to meet auto insurance requirements.
- Must not require sponsorship for employment visa status now or in the future.
