Primary Services is excited to announce the role of Contract Administrator - EPC for our client, a leading organization in the energy sector. This is a contract-to-hire position with a 3-6 month conversion period. As a Contract Analyst, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the contracting process, leveraging your expertise to streamline operations, integrate advanced technologies, and ensure compliance with company policies. You’ll be instrumental in building new processes and collaborating with various departments to support the company’s strategic goals.
Responsibilities
- Continuously assess and enhance contracting processes by integrating advanced technologies and making strategic recommendations.
- Utilize existing technology platforms to reduce contract cycle times and improve quality and compliance.
- Ensure all contracts align with company policies and maintain high standards of quality and operational excellence.
- Identify and mitigate commercial risks by collaborating with departments such as Legal, Cyber Security, Insurance, and HSE.
- Work closely with stakeholders, including Procurement and Legal, to ensure contracts support the company’s strategic objectives.
- Provide commercial contracting expertise and assist in training team members to meet departmental goals.
- Support complex sourcing events and other special projects as needed.
- Develop and implement contract policies and procedures to ensure alignment with company strategies.
- Directly participate in high-complexity contract negotiations and relationship management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
- 7+ years of contract management and negotiation experience in a large organization.
- 3+ years of direct or indirect procurement experience.
- Proven experience in streamlining processes and implementing technological solutions within contracting functions.
- Comprehensive knowledge of contract negotiation and category management.
- Experience collaborating with departments such as Procurement, Legal, IT, Cyber Security, and HSE to manage risks.
- Strong proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Ability to influence others and drive change within an organization.
