Social Media & Influencer Marketing Internship

The T3 Marketing and Social Media Intern position is your opportunity to dive into the dynamic world of influencer marketing, social media engagement, and content creation. This multifaceted role will give you the opportunity to be a part of our marketing communications team to bring our brand to life online.
What You’ll Do:
As a vital member of our marketing team, you’ll be at the forefront of our efforts across various channels, from community management to content creation. Your responsibilities will include:
Social Media Community Management:
- Engage with Our Audience: Respond to direct messages and comments on all T3 social media platforms, ensuring inquiries are addressed promptly and routed to appropriate team members when necessary.
- Monitor Brand Mentions: Actively engage with T3’s tagged posts and stories to foster relationships with our audience and recognize brand advocates.
- Discover New Conversations: Seek out and engage with relevant posts and conversations in the beauty and lifestyle space where T3 is not mentioned, amplifying our brand visibility.
- Content Curation: Highlight exceptional user-generated content and other posts that reflect positively on T3 for consideration in our broader social and influencer strategies, including repost opportunities.
Influencer Marketing:
- Order Management: Place and track daily orders for influencer campaigns, ensuring timely delivery of products while maintaining organized records.
- Influencer Scouting: Research and identify new influencers to engage with through social media platforms and influencer search tools, expanding our network and enhancing our brand partnerships.
- Database Management: Maintain our influencer database in Grin, ensuring the network is current by adding and removing influencers as necessary and managing campaign segmentation effectively.
Content Creation:
- Content Brainstorming: Participate in content brainstorming and strategy meetings, contributing innovative ideas and trends that align with our brand messaging and audience interests.
- Content Filming and Editing: Film, edit, and produce engaging video content tailored for social media platforms, ensuring all content adheres to T3’s brand guidelines and resonates with our target audience.
- Publishing and Scheduling: Publish content according to an established social media calendar, ensuring timely releases that maximize engagement.
- Trend Monitoring: Stay ahead of social media trends, continuously researching and monitoring platforms for new opportunities that T3 can capitalize on, proactively pitching content ideas to the team.
What You Bring:
- Educational Background: Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, business, digital media, or a related field.
- Industry Passion: A genuine interest in the beauty, fashion, or lifestyle industries, coupled with a solid understanding of social media trends.
- Platform Proficiency: Strong familiarity with major social media platforms, especially TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and Facebook, including knowledge of best practices for each.
- Detail-Oriented Approach: Meticulous attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Strong Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt messaging to fit brand voice guidelines. Strong interpersonal and organizational skills are essential.
- Content Creation Skills Proven experience in filming and editing engaging content, and familiarity with video editing tools is a plus.
- Creative Vision: Strong visual literacy and a passion for creating compelling content that speaks to consumers, with the ability to style hair using hot tools and be comfortable in front of the camera is a plus.
Additional Information:
- Work Schedule: 20 hours a week. Flexible hours, with options for hybrid work. For this internship we require minimum one day in the Santa Monica office.
- Rate of Pay: $20-$25 per hour.
- Work Hours: 4-8 hours per day with a flexible schedule, including a 30-minute meal break.
