Position Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and organized Software Project Manager to join our team for a six-month unpaid internship. In this role, you will lead the development of our healthcare collaboration and communication app, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure project success. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience in project management within the healthcare tech space.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the project lifecycle, including planning, execution, and delivery.
- Collaborate with designers, developers, and stakeholders to define project scope and objectives.
- Create and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely progress and milestones are met.
- Facilitate communication between team members and stakeholders, promoting a collaborative work environment.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, adapting strategies as necessary.
- Monitor project performance and implement improvements based on feedback and data analysis.
- Prepare project documentation, including reports and presentations for stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, etc.).
- Basic understanding of software development processes.
- Passion for healthcare and technology.
- Experience with project management tools (e.g., Trello, Asana, Jira) is a plus.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently in a remote environment.
