We are seeking a Marketing Coordinator in our Sacramento office. The ideal candidate is energetic, organized, and a motivated team player who will assist in a broad range of firmwide marketing tasks in addition to supporting business development initiatives. The successful candidate will be an integral member of the marketing team, working closely with project managers and business development leaders to support marketing and BD efforts in our WA, OR, ID, CA, and TX offices as needed.
What will you be doing?
- Proposal coordination and preparation.
- Coordination and production of interview materials.
- Work with technical staff to ensure strategic client interface with existing and targeted new clients is consistently occurring.
- Support corporate branding efforts.
- Support the maintenance of marketing organizational systems, including the Deltek Vantagepoint database.
- Assist in the development of marketing collateral, including the photo library.
- Identify, research, and track project solicitations and leads.
- Collaborate with teaming firms and subconsultants.
- Participate in the Oregon SMPS chapter.
- Gain and understand firm practices and the overall transportation engineering/planning profession.
- Support staff in other office locations as needed.

- What are we looking for?
- Three years of A/E/C experience producing custom proposals for public and private sector clients.
- BS or BA degree in Marketing, English, Journalism, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to successfully work with a diverse team of engineers and subconsultants through the proposal preparation and interview process.
- Ability to display proposal information to highlight points of differentiation while in compliance with RFP requirements.
- Coordinate interview preparation, providing effective feedback and coaching presenters for improvement.
- Experience applying AI tools (e.g., Chat GPT and/or Adobe Firefly) in the pursuit process
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, PhotoShop, and Acrobat) and Microsoft Office applications is required.
- Effective collaborative work style in a team environment.
- Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.

Pay Ranges:
Marketing Coordinator: $35.39 - $40.44 per hour
