Position Overview:
Are you ready to jumpstart your career in Human Resources? If so, we want you on our dynamic team! You will have the opportunity to gain invaluable hands-on experience in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in HR practices, talent acquisition, and organizational development within a startup environment.
Remote Work Requirements: This role is entirely remote, providing flexibility to work from any location. However, candidates must ensure:
- A reliable working computer/laptop.
- Stable internet connectivity.
- Access to necessary HR software/tools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate the recruitment process by posting job openings, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.
- Assist in onboarding activities for new hires, including preparing documentation, program development, and conducting orientation sessions.
- Collaborate on HR strategy & initiatives (talent, retention, engagement, development).
- Participate in employee engagement activities (planning, execution, feedback collection).
- Manage LinkedIn marketing (employer brand, candidate attraction).
- Oversee intern management (recruitment, onboarding, evaluation, development).
- Assist the HR Manager in various HR administrative tasks as needed.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to multitask to meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with HR software and tools, such as HRIS systems, applicant tracking systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- A desire to learn in a fast-paced startup environment with the ability to pivot as needed.
Requirements:
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Bachelor's or Master's program in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology or a related field.
- Previous HR internship or 0-2 years of HR experience is a plus.
- Must be located in the U.S.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
- Familiar with basic HR tools and software.
